What is the point of faith if things around me are depressing, falling apart, dismal and in disrepair?

Then I brought this into captivity of Christ:

The point is faith creates in me an impenetrable fortress that will not fall.

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock."
— Matthew 7:24-25

When I have that, I can change the things around me and not be dependent on them.

The point is heavenly expansion—from us to whom the Kingdom has come, to earth—that His will may be done as it is in heaven.
