My soul is heavy.
A voice says, "You accomplish nothing. You're failing."

And every little thing that happens, every misstep, every mishap, every dry interaction with people reinforces that.

But my spirit responds, "My hope is not in my accomplishment. My hope is in God."

And I am comforted by that. Yes, though I am sad, I am deeply encouraged by that.

What I do, I give to Him.

He is faithful to keep what I have committed to Him—my successes and my failures—and to work all things together for good.

So, I press forward in faith with that earnest expectation.
