Christianity is not magic. The power only works for God's purposes not my own.

I could be tortured and murdered today and His goodness would not be diminished in the slightest.

As Christians, we believe God; His goodness, His government and His purpose that are continually being revealed in the person of Christ. I have joy because I can have a piece of it now and my hope is in seeing His desire fulfilled -a city whose builder and maker is God.

God is not on my team. I am on His. All that I am and all that I hope for is found in Him.
