How to build a time machine: shared space + quality time + classic music + and a beautiful tour guide from a beautiful time.

On the drive to share Thanksgiving with loved ones, my mother and I had wonderful conversation and deepened our understanding of each other through each other's music. Dorothy Moore, The Manhattans, The Deele… It's amazing how music dates, places and connects us.

It's a moment that will stay with me forever, for which I am deeply thankful. I encourage us all today to focus on such moments, especially such moments with loved ones we've lost, and make more with the people we have.
