My sister-in-love, Gloria Harris, is a teacher and is absolutely amazing.

This morning, Melissa Luckett and I had the pleasure of serving as readers for her classroom at O'Bannon Elementary School of Western Line SchoolDistrict in Greenville, Mississippi for National Read Across America Day.

Her love for teaching and her students could literally be felt a hundred miles away across a computer screen. She had students in Mississippi, in the Delta, engaged, excited and eager to learn. It was such a wonderful experience that I wanted to share it with you.

I've heard it said,"Love first, then teach." Today, I saw the difference that makes. #NationalReadAcrossAmericaDay
